Tilda & Snowy have Winter Hugs...awwww

Morning!

How are we all today? I'm hoping everyone is ok. I'm still feeling the cold here but not too long now until the man comes & fixes my heating...it's only been broke since the 21st October!! I have LOADS more to moan about so I'll stop now or you may NEVER stop me!! LOL

Ok so this morning I have a new card made with Tilda & Snowy......isn't this sooooooo cute!?!?! I used a scalloped card blank & blue & white card stock from the paper mill, I embossed the white card with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes embossing folder, Magnolia image stamped in Memento & colored with Pro Markers & of course I had to add LOADS of Stardust Stickles.......no card is complete without them you know!!! The sentiment is from Lilly of The Valley - aren't they just gorgeous! I stamped my sentiment then cut using circle nestie & added to a blue scallop cut wih another nestie!

I received a lovely email from my Pal in the lovely US of A to let me know there was something waiting for me on her AMAZING blog...so I nipped over to find an award, for me (I'm blushing now!! I know I bet you never thought that was possible LOL)

Tilda is All White...

Hey All!

I said I would be back - but I don't think you would've guessed this quickly!! LOL So Tilda has finished drying & here she is, it took me AGES to color this image ROFL

I embossed white card with cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder, plain & big scallped nestie as been glitterd round the edges, as has cuttlebug snowflake die cut & Tilda with bow was stamped in memento, I added some grey for shading then just went CRAZY with the star dust stickles!! Little greeting down the bottom is a clear 99p Dovecraft one - I LOVE those little sets!!

I had an idea to use this Tilda but I'm saving it for later on!

For this card I've used a 6x6 card blank, card from paper mill, paper by Dovecraft, X-Cut punch to punch snowflakes, Martha Stewart doily lace edge punch, ribbon from my stash, oval plain & scalloped nesies, white card as been embossed with snowflakes, Tilda has been colored wih pro markers & LOADS of Stardust stickles - EVERYWHERE!!!

Creative Inspirations - We're on the move Challenge

Afternoon All,

sorry I'm late with my DT card for this weeks Creative Inspirations challenge. But I got sent to the Isle of Man to work for a few days I left my laptop at home & still haven't worked out how to schedule posts!

Anyhow this week's challenge is On the move - now I admit I did pull my hair out a bit for this challenge esp when I saw all the gorgeous creations my teamies made, but then I thought of Hawaiian Tilda and how her hair & grass skirt are moving in the warm summer breeze & how nice she would look in an apeture - so thats what I did LOL!!! I hope you like her.....
Card details are: card stock from paper mill, paper DCWV, palm tree printed from the WWW, Hawaiian Tilda & Palm tree colored with pro markers, apeture cut with oval nestability on my cuttlebug.

My day off & guess what...?

I woke up with the worlds WORST headache, so I have taken some very strong tablets & I finally feel human again :)

I was sooo looking forward to today, I feel like I havent made anything in such a long time & I was lucky enough to win my very first blog candy, it arrived on Saturday & I wanted to play, it was the Miss Anya Rain, Snow & Sun set I won from Caz & not only was it the first candy I've won but my first Miss Anya's!! Now I feel better might get to play with them.

Anyway I have managed to make this card today & woooo it fits into a few challenges & there are:

First Card of 2010

Afternoon Everyone,
I hope you are all well, I'm staying indoors until I HAVE to go to work I LOVE looking at the snow but don't like waiting for buses in it!! LOL

Here is my 1st card of 2010 & boy did I go OTT with the glitter on this one!! I have a friends special birthday coming up soon & she is so girlie I thought the glitter would be good, but have I over done it?

Creative Inspirations- Card & Gift Tag

Good Evening All'
How are you all today?? Hope you've had a good day, I've been at work & we went Christmas tree shopping, we got a 7ft tree from Argos for £16.66 - should've known i would be minus a few branches - we'll just cover it in tinsel it'll be ok, won't it???

As it's Wednesday today that mans one hing a FABBY new challenge on Creative Inspirations this week's challenge is to make a card & git tag. There is also a MEGA prize on offer this week a $20 shopping spree from Simon Says - I know WOW!!!

For my card I used card stock from the paper mill, paper from Magnolia, Magnolia Tilda with Mistletoe stamped in memento & colered with pro markers, dovecraft "tis the season" stamp & plain & scalloped circle nesties. For the Tag I used he same card stock & plain & scalloped circle nesties with Tilda stamped & colored th same as the card, I used another dovcraft stamp "comfort & Joy" & ribbon from my stash to finish the tag!

It's my Mam's birthday soon & I may use his card, even tho her birhday is near to Christmas I NEVER make a Chrismassy birthday card & I like the idea of that so maybe I will - LOL I followed the sketch on the Just Magnolia blog for this card too!

I'm watching the soaps & then my fave TV show is on True Blood - have you seen it??? I was shocked after the first 10 minutes in episode 1 but then I LOVED IT lol!!!

Tilda Bookmark

Evening All,

Well I've had my soap fix, ITV, BBC then back to ITV an hour of dancing round like a loon now then over to channel 4 for Big Brother! OMG I'm addicted to TV, and bad TV @ that lol!!!

Well in the Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group the Sept Challenge is a bookmark, Truly Scrumptious have anything but a card & Simon Says challenge theme is back to school - my bookmark manages to make into all 3 of them woooooo!

Cardstock from papermill, Tilda sent to me in the Magnolia-licious image chain, ribbon from my stash & "This book belongs to" printed off've my PC! I went for a clever arty shot with my bookmark in an actual book - & yes it had to be one of my faves - HARRY POTTER!!!

Christmas in August Day!!!

Good Morning all,

my day off & 'cos its another grey day here in Newcastle I have deceided to have a Christmas in August Day - yes a whole day I am going to try & make lots of Christmas cards & I am watching Chrismas films, I'm starting with Miracle on 34th Street!! :D

I wanted to go for a pastel card at first to get me into the mood - card stock from paper mill, embossed with cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder, martha stewart doily lace border punch, dovecraft greeting stamp, Tilda stamped in Memento & colored with Pro Markers, cuttlebug snowflake inside the card & greeting is also a dovecraft stamp.

This card fits into the Simon Says challenge & also Creative Card crew as they both have the Christmas in August theme!!

In one day this is all I've managed....

can you believe it in 1 day of & this is all I've managed to make today!!! Gutted to say the least but I got sidetracked with watching Columbo - lol
