Quick Christmas Cards

Morning Peeps! How are we all today?? I am feeling way better today woooooo hooooooo finally feeling more human again!

I wanted to share with you some SUPER quick cards I made this morning. I always struggle to mak cards for my work mates as there's so blinking many of them it would take me a year if I took my normal length of time on them!! Lol

For my first card I've used the Magnolia Candy Cane - I knew as soon as I saw it it would look fab just colored in & on a card in it's own right! I LOVE Candy canes, I have some for my tree, I saw them last year & didn't buy them it took me about 3 weeks to remember where I saw them & had to rush back to buy them they are FAB & glittery!! I've used swiss dots embossing folder to emboss the white card & the greeting is from the Wavy Winter Wishes Set.

My next card is Sitting Angel Tilda - isn't she super cute??? White card has been embossed with cuttlebug snowflakes & swiss dots embossing folder, circles are cut using nestabilities dies & Tila has been colored with Pro Markers. I LOVE how her tights look like candy canes!!! Lol

My last card is a super duper cute High Hopes Santa, this images was sent to me by my FAB blog buddy Corinne. The foil Christmas paper is by papermania & te greeting is from those great little 99p sets!

These are all - but not bad for a mornings work eh??? I'll try & make some more & pop back to share them with you soon! X x X

Creative Inspirations - Spooky Challenge

Good Morning Everyone!

How are you all? Well I'm not well so I'm going to start my post off with a moan.....I'm FREEZING I have no heating.....brrrrr I've been onto the people I rent from & they are coming to fix but right now I'm looking a very pale blue!!! LOL

Anyway a new Wednesday today & a new challenge at Creative Inspirations & its a theme of SPOOKY! We had some FAB digi stamp to use to make our cards but me being me of course I had to have a dilema...the charger for the laptop is kaput & the printer is refusing to work on my PC.....it's very naughty so I had to use a Tilda. I wanted to do what Nat did with her card & color Tilda green but I didn't have the guts too!! Lol

Sneaky Tilda.....I think she needs a new name!!

Evening All!

I am here tonight with a new card, made with my new favourite stamp, yes I'm saying that again lol this is Sneaky Tilda but honest I don't think she looks sneaky at all, she looks too darn cute if you ask me!!

For my card I have used Dovecraft Christmas Fancy paper which is delicious sweet pastel colors, Sneaky Tilda was colored with pro markers & MEGA loads of stardust stickles, ovals cut with nesties on my cuttlebug, x-cut snowflake punch with papermania jewel centres & dovecraft greeting stamped with stazon.

I am totally loving this Tilda she is definetly my next purchase as I don't own her yet I was just sent some images of her....

I'm off to get excitied for tonights Double Eviction on X-Factor deffo cant be Wagner that goes he was excellent last night....incase you missed him, or just wanna see it again, here he is:

Commissioned 18th Birthday Card...& something exciting

Afternoon All!
I hope you are all well today....I have another day off today woooooo & I remembered ages ago I was asked to make an 18th Birthday card for a lady who works with my mam to give to her grandaughter. Mam said liked girlie things I wanted to go pink but I got up REALLY early today & popped over to Hobbycraft on the Team Valley & fell in love with these papers.

The papers are My Minds Eye, the white patterened is flocked, the ribbon is from my stash, the 18 is from Hobbycraft too (cant remember who by though) happy birthday from craftwork cards & jewels papermania, image is Whiff of Joy City Girls, it was stamped & sent to me from the lovely Samantha & I colored it with pro markers.

I'm entering this card in Charisma Cardz challenge of something new, I've used new papers & also a new image to me as I normally only use Magnolia Tilda/Edwin's...so a little out of my comfort zone but I like it..(I think LOL)

Good Morning Everyone!

Hope you are all well....it's a nice sunny day so far here in Newcastle!!

Today I have my 2 DT cards in 1 - wooooo how clever was I??? Suppose there's always a first time for everything eh?? LOL

This fortnight at Making it with Meslyn we have a Sketch

and at Creative Inspirations we have a color theme of Pastel Pink, Pastel Green & Cream

I cant wait to pop over to you blog's & see what you've come up with. For my card I used card stock from the Paper Mill, paper from Papermania, gorgeous Hanglar & Stanglar images sent to me by my newest email buddy Corinne, I've colored them with pro markers - Corinne stamped the images on sparkly card & thats where the shimmer is coming from - clever eh?!?!?!

I'm going to share something else with you too!!! I went onto itunes & downloaded Katy Perry's new album & as much as I hate to admit it it's really good!! (I don't want to like her since she stole Russell Brand from me!!) & my favourite song this week if from her album so I'm gonna post it for you all to have a boogie too, Enjoy & see you soon!!! x x x

Sorry You're Leaving...

...Jemma 'cos I'm gonna miss you! Booo Hoooo I'm sad in this blog post today as I have been making a card for my work mate Jemma, she has left to go to a new job so whilst I am happy she is moing onto bigger & better thigns I will miss her. So I have made this card for her. I took my inspiration from Jane as soon as I saw her Just Magnolia DT card this week I knew thats what I wanted to make a card like for Jemma.

My card stock is from the paper mill, paper is Summer Bloom by Papermania, Magnolia Farewell Tilda has been colored with pro markers & some star dust stickles has been added to her dress & hanky, greeting was printed from my PC & embossed with swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder & x-cut distressing tool to distress all edges.

I'm having a stressful Sunday I woke very early went to put a washer full on to wash & the blinkin' thing wouldn't work.....so what did I do then what any girl would do who lives on her own, I called my Daddy!!! He talked me through a few things none of which worked so Mam & Dad said they'd come washer shopping with me, before we did I thought "Oooh try it once more" & thats when the blinking thing sprang to life!!!!! No idea what was wrong but at least I dont have to fork out on a new one (I can save for the NEC in Nov) & I don't have to hand wash!!!! Now I'm relaxing got my Sunday dinner cooking & I'm off to look for a DVD to watch as the TV is pants right now.....wish X Factor was on Saturday & Sunday!! LOL See you soon x x x

hope you're all well...it's a lovely Sunny day in Newcastle today & I'm off to work fingers crossed it's a good day!!!

For my card today I have followed a sketch at Friday Sketchers. I have made this card for a friend....it's her birthday party on Sunday.

I've used paper by My Minds Eye, papermania jewels, Magnolia Tilda image colored with pro markers & star dust stickles, Martha Stewart scallop edge punch. Greeting has been printed from pc. On the front I've got "As it's your birthday you're allowed 1 wish" & inside I'm going to put "No you can't be 21 AGAIN!!" what do you think???

Magnolia Calender 2011...

Morning Folks!
I hope you are all well...I have a few piccies for you today. I made a Calender last year for my mam & she loved it (except I didnt make a page for June....oops!) so I thought I would make another this year & try to make a page for every month this time LOL

I've managed 4 pages & I have them here to show you, I have another 2 images colored & glittered & ready just to put the pages together..... so here's how 2011 is looking....

Every Princess needs a Prince especially one that..

.... brings you shoes! ROFL!!!! It's true isn't it??? My card for today is Princess Tilda & Prince Edwin, I wanted to keep Princess Tilda in white & then as I colored her I remembered I had Prince Edwin, now when I saw Edwin I HAD to have him & until now I haven't used him - OMG I know shock Horror!!!

My card blank can be found here, card stock from paper mill, white card has been embossed with cuttlebug little hearts embossing folder, Tilda & Edwin have been stamped in memento & colored with pro markers also I blinged them up with crystal & silver ice stickles, plain & scalloped heart nestabilities cut on my cuttlebug & Martha Stewart doily lace heart punch.

My greeting has been printed from my PC in the font "Sunshine in my Soul" one the front it says "One day my Prince will come..." & inside I'm going to put "...Fingers crossed he brings shoes!!" Perfect for any girlie birthday card or just to send 'cos you want too!!!!

Just for a change I'm watching Bones - & of course as I'm watching Bones I'm drooling over Seeley Booth LOL!!! Will be back later to see if I can come up with anything else...see you soon x

What an awful day it looks today, but to cheer you up we have a new challenge at Creative Inspirations!! This weeks challenge is "Let's Get Physical" we've been inspired with all the sporty goings on & we hope our FAB prize this week will inspire you too!!! Good Morning Fellow Bloggers what a gorgeous day today is.......hope you're all well. I'm here today with a very special card, I hope it's ok??? One of the ladies I work with has her birthday today & it's a special one she is 60!!! Not only that she is a wonderful lady always happy & cheerful & is throwing a party tonight wooooooooo!

Magnolia-licious Birthday Celebration

WOW Check this out another post from me today it is officially a world record. I wont be posting this much anymore as I'm not off work til Wednesday so I wont be bugging you too much LOL!

Whilst blog hopping today I found this FAB Challenge for the Magnolia-licious Birthday Challenge, Magnolia-licious is a Yahoo group & through this group I have met some wonderful people, some here in the UK some further afield in Canada & the USA. The group is 2 years old & is having a celebration this challenge it "Bling it" as soon as I saw it I thought of Princess Tilda, I knew I could glitz her up & I bought a lovely princess carriage stamp which I thought would look nice all glittzy too!!! This also fits into the Bunny Zoe Challenge of Nice & Girly

I think I have manged to fulfil the brief of "Bling" what do you think??? Sometimes I make a card & think "ooooooh I quite like this" & you know what this is one of them........even if I do say so myself, I think it may have something to do with having Princess TIlda as she is still my fave Tilda! Happy Birthday Tilda

Afternoon!

Told you I'd be back with another card & it's using another of my new Tilda's - I LOVE getting new Tilda's, these new ones are super cute - it shouldn't be allowed to be this cute!!! Lol

Any way the sun is shing but I'm still feeling a bit rough this cold doesn't want to go anywhere fast does it?!?! I've got the windows open & the World Cup on the TV, and another Tilda is drying in the sunshine so I might be back with another card again today (Gosh 3 in one day world record I think)

This world cup is addictive.......I'm watching the South Korea match now but can't wait for Greece to play later "GO Greece!!!!" Last world cup I was working in Crete as a holiday rep so this is bringing back lots of lovely memories.......:D

Creative Inspirations - Babies

Hope you are all well, we have a new challenge on Creative Inspirations & this week we have a theme of Babies - everybody go awwwwwwwwwwww!

I deceided to do a very pink baby card, all my friends at work have had little boys, so making a little girl card was lovely!

I used card stock from the paper mill, papermania paper, Martha Stewart doily lace punch, Magnolia Bunny Tilda colored with Pro Markers, papermania ribbon & greeting stamp.

Creative Inspirations - fairies

Good Morning Wednesday!

Well my first day back at work yesterday after 2 weeks off, felt like I've never been off....but today is a new day & a new challenge at Creative Inspirations and what a challenge we have, we'd like to see a fairy or fairies...... what a perfect way to use use these gorgeous images!!

For my card I've used card stock ffrom paper mill, I've distressed the edges with an x-cut distressing tool, paper is rose garden by papermania, martha stewart doily lace punch, plain & scalloped circle nesties, Tilda has been colored with pro markers & her wings have been glittered with star dust stickles. Greeting is a forever friends stamp.
