Making it With Meslyn

Good Morning Sunday!

Woooooooo hoooooooooo the rain has stopped!!! Finally, still looks grey & feels a bit chilly....but I'm off to work so won't see the rest of the weather 'til I finish at 5pm.

Anyhow as it's the 15th that means a new challenge at Making it with Meslyn, it's a fab challenge from Jess this time......we'd love to see your male inspired easel cards! When I heard the theme I knew I had to use my newest Edwin's!

For my card card stock from paper mill, paper My Minds Eye, brads Making Memories, Edwins & Sea Porthole & sea banner colored with pro markers, greeting stamped with a little clear stamp that I have no idea where it came from LOL!

I can't wait to see what you all come up with as I know everyone is loving the new Magnolia's plus everyone loves easel cards.....of course you don't have to use Edwin....see you at Making it With Meslyn with your gorgeous creations!!!

Welcome Baby Emre James!!!

My very good friend at work Kelly has just had her baby yesterday, so I wanted to make a special card for her & her husband Yunus to welcome their new baby, I was desperate for Bunny Tilda to arrive & just like baby Emre James she arrived yesterday!!! LOL

Card stock is Core'dinations Whitewash (I'm running out I MUST get more I LOVE IT!), paper DCWV & Forever Friends, Nesabilites oval & big scalloped ovals, heart cuttlebug folder, ribbon from my stash & Tilda colored with Pro Markers & lots of stickles added to white oval.

I was unsure of what color to do the wording in so my good friends on Do Crafts pointd me in the right direction I was choosing between white, blue & black & they were right the white looks really good - I used Making Memories glitzy sticky letters!! Now I said I neede more whitewash card this is essential as I can't finish the inside until I get it!!! lol

I'm watching the rugby England Vs France but I have no idea whats going on - God I never thought I'd say this but I'd rather be watching Football!! LOL Or for my friends over the Pond Soccer!!!!

Pro markers used: Skin Ivory & Dusky Pink, Bunny Suit Cool Aqua & Ice Grey 1, Hair Primrose & Vanilla

Wooooo look what the sun has inspired...

The sun is out & is making me feel all springy!!! And as it's all sun-shiny I have been workin on this card, I LOVE the magnolia butterfly background I think it makes such gorgeous secenes!! I wasn't too keen on Dragonfly Tilda but I 've used her quite a bit over the last week and now I adore her!!

Card stock from papermill, glitzy card DCWV, ribbon from my stash, daisies embossing folder by Cuttlebug, X-Cut flower punch & yellow making memories brads, Nellie Snellen branch punch & papermania greeting, frame made with scalloped square nesties, Tilda stamped in memento & colored with pro markers & again oodles of glitter on her wings & in the clouds!!!

I'm back to work tomorro - boooooooo, so I'm off to see what else I can make, Im doing well with my DVD-a-thon 2 down only about 19 to go!!! Swoon I heart Seeley Booth!!! xx

This is my kinda card - pink everywhere!

I have made this card to fit into 3 challenges which are:

Card blank is from my stash, card sock from the paper mill, paper by K&Co, Magnolia Tilda with bee & Butterly Backround both stamped in memento ink & colored with Pro Markers, Whitewashed Coredinations Card stock, Plain & scalloped nesies, ribbon from my stash, & X-Cut flower punch with a making memeories jewel bad centre!

I hope you are having a good day! It's very windy here in Newcastle & I keep getting leaves blow infront of my windows giving me a fright as Im on the 2nd floor!!! LOL x

Just Magnolia Challenge # 11

Over on the Just Magnolia Challenge blog Bev has come up with a FAB sketch. Whilst looking at the DT Cards I saw Mina had used the GORGEOUS Magnolia Santa so I thought oohhhh I'm coming to use him too, so I did lol!

This also fits in really well with the Stamp Something challenge of Emblish Somethings, where you must use 3 emblishments, and as I've used 3 snowflakes my card fis in woooo!

Card blank is craft tonic. green matallic card from my stash, papers DCWV, plain & scalloped circle nesties, Dovecraft "Merry Christmas" Magnolia Santa colored with Pro Markers & Making Memories Snowflake brads.

Creative Inspirations # 11 Something Hidden

Hey peeps, sorry for the late posting from me but I've been working xtra at work as we've been soooooooooo busy this week!

Anyhoo back onto my card for today. Over at Creative Inspirations this week the challenge is to hide something on your card. When I first saw the theme I thought ohh no & then I saw some of the gorgeous cards my DT buddies had made & my groans got louder as their cards were fab. I got out my trusty Magnolia's & cuttle bug & ta da this is what I have come up with. Card blank is craft tonic (as you can see not a square lol), paper is DCWV, pink card from Paper Mill which has been embossed with bloom dots cuttlebug embossing folder, Dovecraft greeting stamp, ribbon from my stash & making memories flower brad.

Stamp Something Sketch

I'm here with my card for the lovely sketch on the Stamp Something blog.


I used one of my Penny Black clear stamps, haven't used these in a while so I am going to try to use them more often. I have a few double & I'm thinking of putting them on eBay o clear some room & make some pennies to buy more stamps with - lol!!!


Anyway back to my Stamp Something card, the A6 card blank is craft tonic, card stock from paper mill shop, paper DCWV, Penny Black image stamped in memento & colored with pro markers & glitter from my stash on the cupcake, ribbon from my stash & brads by Making Memories, "make a wish" also Penny Black.


I'm having a Bones-a-thon I LOVE this show, & whilst watching I'm going to try to enter some more challenges so watch out blogger I'm posting ALL day long!

The white card blank has the right handside embossed with swiss dots embossing folder. Paper is Forever friends & I think its a xmas one. X Cut flower punch & papermania jewel flowers, Tilda as butterfly & she as been colored with Pro Markers & making memories lilac jewel brads. There are only 4 one the front & the other 2 are inside. And here is the inside.

Edwin for Father's Day

Yes i am getting my self organised REALLY early, that 'cos I am hoping to start selling some more of my cards I've had a few on eBay but gonna try somewhere else to see what happens, don't think I'm gonna outsell Clintons just yet but might give it a go!!!!

Anyway here is a lovely Edwin - I dont use Edwin as muchas I should, think it's cos I only own 2 Edwins (this one was sent in an image swap) paper is from my stas (No idea where it came from think a lovely person sent it to me!) brown & cram card from the paper mill, making memories brads, Edwin colored with Pro Markers, & plain & scalloped circle nesties, greeting printed off PC. I have also added some glitter to Edwins wings - just not in this pic.

I'm off to drool over FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth in Bones as I try to join in with the Just Magnolia Challenge - see you Soon!

Creative Inspirations - Challenge # 4 Seeing Double

Woooo week 4 is here upon us over on the Creaive Inspirations blog this weeks challenge is to use 2 stamped images on your card.

So as I don't like change too much I thought I would use Tilda!! LOL I went for pastel colors as the sun was shining when I made my card & it put me in a lovely spring mood :D

Card blank from my stash (cant remember where thy came from - oops!) green & white card stock from the Paper Mill, white card has been embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, 2 stamps used are Tilda's Swing & sitting Tilda ( I was unsure if Tilda was actually wearing a dress or a jumpsuit, they are the current trend and we all know how fashionable Tilda is! But in the end I deceided as it was spring she would be in a dress trying to tan her legs - wearing sun cream of course!!!) I glittered her wings with Icicle Stickles & colored Tilda & Swing with Pro Markers, Paper from the £shop as is the frame the greeting has been printed onto & making memories flower brads.

Now don't worry I don't normally have a story for every Tilda I use I just went a bit mad with this one. Ok so I've been working all over the Easter & I'm off today & tomorrow so sorry if I bombard you with my creations but I don't feel too good so I'm gonna stay in & "play" :D

Spots Spots Spots!

OMG there all over!

Aren't these two just the cutest, they have been colored with Pro Markers, greting printed from PC, card stock from the Paper Mill which has been embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, Making Memories gold heart brad & black ribbon from my stash!

I think it may be missing something - what do you think??

Wooooo an actual card from me!!

.... I can't believe it, I have actually made a card can't remember the last time. Think I was soooo excited for my hols I couldn't concentrate lol

Might give this to my dad as it's his birthday on the 17th March - but I'm unsure might be a bit kiddish wot do you think??? x
