Welcome Baby Emre James!!!

My very good friend at work Kelly has just had her baby yesterday, so I wanted to make a special card for her & her husband Yunus to welcome their new baby, I was desperate for Bunny Tilda to arrive & just like baby Emre James she arrived yesterday!!! LOL

Card stock is Core'dinations Whitewash (I'm running out I MUST get more I LOVE IT!), paper DCWV & Forever Friends, Nesabilites oval & big scalloped ovals, heart cuttlebug folder, ribbon from my stash & Tilda colored with Pro Markers & lots of stickles added to white oval.

I was unsure of what color to do the wording in so my good friends on Do Crafts pointd me in the right direction I was choosing between white, blue & black & they were right the white looks really good - I used Making Memories glitzy sticky letters!! Now I said I neede more whitewash card this is essential as I can't finish the inside until I get it!!! lol

I'm watching the rugby England Vs France but I have no idea whats going on - God I never thought I'd say this but I'd rather be watching Football!! LOL Or for my friends over the Pond Soccer!!!!

Pro markers used: Skin Ivory & Dusky Pink, Bunny Suit Cool Aqua & Ice Grey 1, Hair Primrose & Vanilla

Creative Inspirations Autum/Fall

Hello Folks!

this week's challenge over on Creative Inspirations is Autum/Fall as the trees change & the colors look so gorgeous this is one of my favourite times of the year!

I thought I might try card - yes shock horror with no Magnolia image. I love the image but not too sure on a card with no Tilda - it just doesnt feel right lol!!!

Card stock is hocus pocus core'dinations which been embossed with tiny dots cuttlebug embossing folder, the cardstock has a orange core & I have sanded the embossing so the orange shows through, it doesnt show well in the picture but honestly it is there!! Image High Hopes sent to me by a kind person & colored with Pro Markers, ribbon from my stash & greeting printed from my PC.

Creative Inspirations # 18

Good morning and as its Wednesday it means another great challenge over on the Creative Inspirations blog.

This week our theme is distressing.

Card blank from from my stash, Coredinations cardstock whitewash card sock which has been distressed with X-Cut distressing tool, Gorjuss Girl image colored with Pro Markers, greeting is Doodlebug rub ons and Design paper K&Co.

OMG My Mam has asked me....

.... she's asked me to make her a card! She NEVER does this & I was totally shocked & then started to worry as she asked me to make a card for a very good friend & its a grandparents card :(

I have nothing for babies so I thought I would go for the grown-up celebrations!

She goes mad for verses so I got some help from the Do Crafts forum with that.

Fingers crossed it's ok she's seeing it tomorro I think so will let you know how I get on but I'm not too hopeful!

Creative Inspirations # 17 Stitches Everywhere!

Morning All & woooooooo hooooooo it's Wednesday which means a new Challenge @ Creative Inspirations :D

The theme this week is Stitching. This can be real or faux.

I've also made this card for my friend who is unwell & thought this might cheer her up :D

Card blank by craft tonic, card stock from paper mill, paper from my stash, Coreinations Gemstone cardstock, x-cut flower punch, Magnolia Tild & Rain cloud stamped in memento & colored with Pro Markers & Stickles, plain & scalled circle nesties cut on cuttlebug. My "stitching" has been done in a white sakura gel pen on the blue paper & pink card & on the white I went for black!

Stamp Something & Creative Card Crew

Ever had a card that takes you ALL Day to do well thats this one! At first I had a darkers card underneath the DP but wanted to keep it quite pale, then I spent 2 hours looking for my prima flowers only for them to look AWFUL on the card, then I had to make corners as I dont have a punch or die cute & the card looked REALLY bare without it & I REALLY wanted to use ribbon on somewhere but didnt know where!! But phew I think I am finally happy with my card.

It fits into 2 challenges as well which I did by accident, I wanted to do the challenge on stamp something, which is green yellow & pink, & creative card crew, which is create a scene. I generally think all the way through ohh I'll combine the 2 but I only thought that at the end with this card (unless I did think that at the beginning & forgot lol!)

I'm off to relax & watch some Seely Booth in Bones until Big Bro comes on, which I'm looking forward to cos Craig from BB1 comes in & I never saw any Big Bro until no 5 as I was working overseas!!!

As it's coming up to the 4th of July lots of challenges are having this theme & I'm pleased as these are some of my favourite colors and as my fave place is also the USA.

I used Edwin for a change and doesn't he just look soooooooo darn cute!!

I am entering this card into the ABC challenge where U is for United States. Three Clovers has the theme of red, white and blue and Charisma Cardz is buttons.

My card blank is craft tonic, card stock Core'dinations, Magnolia Edwin colored with Pro Markers, paper DCWV, buttons from my stash & greeting printed from my PC.

I am very upset today as yesterday I went to order the Magnolia Summer Club only to find I've missed it, I am sooooooooo upset as I've had a wee sneaky peak at them & they are so adorable.

Creative Inspirations - Challenge # 15 Masking

Good Morning on this warm Wednesday Morning!

As it's Wednesday I am here with my DT card for Creative Inspirations. Last weeks winner of anything but a card was the fabalous TANJA who made an utterly gorgeous recepie book.

This week our challenge is Masking. Now I LOVE this!!!
I have used Tilda with flowers and the butterfly grasses from the Spring Club, paper is Forever Friends, Coredinations whitewash card stock & ribbon from my stash :D

A few challenges rolled into 1..

Good Morning Peeps! How are are we all today - well I hope, I am a bit gutted as I had planned on doing some outdoorsy things but as theres no sun here thats gone out the window! So I have deceided to join in a few challenges with this card I have made.

I have used the theme at Stamp Something which is black, white & 1 other color, I have used the sketch at Truly Scrumptious & at Charisma Cardz my card fits in well with the theme of anything goes!

My card blank is Craft tonic, card stock from paper mill, paper by HOTP, Core'dinations black magic card stock which has been embossed with cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder & sanded so the pink color shows through, Papermania black jewels & best wishes stamp, flowers from my stash, x-cut flower punch & Magnolia Tilda with roses stamped in memento & colored with pro markers.

I have done it again & used a square card naughty me!!

Over on the Simon Says Challenge Blog they have a theme of one for th boys. This is my first visit to this blog & I really enjoyed the challenge that is male cards lol!!

Truly Scrumptious - You're Truly, Truly Scrumptious!

LOL thats my FAVE song from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang so whilst blog hopping & I came across the Truly Scrumptious Blog I KNEW I would have to join in!

There's a FAB sketch to follow & to make your card truly scrumptious and good enough to eat!

I have gave in and finally used a square card blank - no more tho! Papers are Sweet Nothing by Papermania, Gemstone Coredinations embossed with yes you've guessed it Swiss dots, Papermania clear stamp greeting & Tilda & Muffin stamped in memento & colored with pro markers.

Color Create - Blue & Green & Magnolia Down Under Thinking of YOU!

Well it's taken me ALL afternoon to come up with this lil A6 card - can you believe something so small took so much time!

It might be because I'm so used to using square cards that I didnt know how to fill one - well thats what I'm telling myself lol! I've deceided as that I could supply a small Clinton's store with my blank card blanks I'm going to use them up before I buy some more, which also measn as I use soooo many square ones they're running out & I'm NOT going to buy any more until my stock of "other" ones is smaller so get used to anything but square from me lol!

Anyway Over at Color Create the theme this week is blue & green - I LOVE these colors together & as soon as I saw the theme I knew I would use this Tilda with the raincloud. This also works well for the Magnolia Down Under challenge of Thinking for You. Card blank is craft tonic, green kiwi coredinations cardstock, papers by DCWV, ribbon from my stash, Tilda & raincloud by Magnolia & colored with Pro Markers & Diamond Stickles.

I've done the inside too - I know a while back I said I was going to do this more but I do a card, then say I'll do the inside later then I'm lft with a MASSIVE pile & dont want to decorate the inside but this time I've done it all together :D

Creative Inspirations - Challenge # 7 Color Combo

This weeks challenge at Creative Inspirations is to use red, blue & green!

I struggled at first but then when I had chosen my Hanglar it all fell into place!

Coreinations card stock has been mbossed thru my cuttlebug, Hanglar image colored with Pro Markers, ribbon from my stash & greeting by Papermania.

Magnolia Down Under For My Mam

Challenge # 10 Over on Magnolia Down Under & the theme is Mother's Day we've already had Mother's Day here in the UK so I thought I could make something to give to my Mam just because!

I think these colors work really well together the flowery paper is from my stash, pink whitewash coredinations cardstock which has been embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, Tilda & grass have been colored with Pro Markers & Prima flower, greeting has been printed from PC.

X Cut flower punch & papermania jewel flowers, Tilda as butterfly & she as been colored with Pro Markers & making memories lilac jewel brads. There are only 4 one the front & the other 2 are inside. .. I do still love these colors together especially as the sun is shinning so brightly in Newcastle :D

I am definetly going to use these colors together more often as I do LOVE them & I dont really think I would've put them togeher until I joined in on the Creative Inspirations blog - so thanx Girls!!! x x
