Creative Inspiraions Christmas Decoraions NO CARDS!

Morning All!
How are we all?? Well the world has nearly come to a stand still here in Newcastle, for as long as I can remember we've been COVERED with snow!!! Yes it does look pretty but after nearly slipping 6 times a day & ALL the buses have been of after 7pm since Saturday as it's too bad to drive in it gets a bit boring - but fun at work.......I went in on Monday I started at 4pm, bus was late so got there at 4.20pm..........checked the buses website at 4.30pm & shop was closed at 6pm I was supposed to be there 'til 10pm soooooooooo woooooooooooo BUT I had to stand in the cold & wet or an hour to sit at work for an hour FOR NOTHING!!! Lol

Well thats my moan over with...........Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo it's Wednesday & my day off but that also means a new FAB challenge at Creative Inspirations!

This week we have the theme of Christmas Decorations NO Cards Allowed!! I struggled on this challenge I think he snow has taken my mojo But I was in the £ shop & saw these mega cute mini Candy Canes & thought "Awwwwwww I MUST Have these" I have another idea for a couple so "Ssssssshhhhhh" it's a secret!!!

For my DT inspiration I made a Candy Cane holder - as the cany canes are so weee they might get lost, so I thought it would be good to have a holder for them, I used my nesties & Magnolia Candy Cane stamp, colored with pro markers & clear 99p Merry Christmas Stamp! Santa Claus is Coming to Town....

Afternoon Peeps!

Im late here oday as I've had the guy here fixing my heaing, well I hope it's fixed the problem is it's night storage heaters & you NEVER know their on 'til night time!!! I might go & adjust the clock for a wee bit Im sure it looks like it could be middnight outside I mean it is dark & grey ouside anyway LOL!!! x x x

So for my card oday I thought I would try & keep it simple & just use Santa.......I used red & white card stock, mbossed the white card with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing Folder & colored Santa with Pro Markers, cut a square scalloped nestie for Santa & a circle one for the greeting......the inside is decorated pretty much the same but without the circle greeting & on the white sqaure I have the phrase "Ho Ho HO!!"

I may b back later I WAY too many cards to make but Im too cold to do them LOL so off to watch some Xmas DVD's that sounds fun eh?? lol xxx

Tilda visits Edwin Claus.....

Morning Peeps!

I hope you are reading this & I have managed to get it to post at a scheduled time.....I never normally can do it!!

I'm currently loving using more than 1 Magnolia stamp on my cards, on this one Tilda has gone to Visit Edwin Claus to drop off her Christmas Wish List, Edwin is checking his list as he is a wee bit unsure to wether or not Tilda is on the good list, just when he thinks he's found her she helps herself to a present!!

I've used card from paper mill, paper is forever friends cosy Christmas, Magnolia stamps Santa Edwin, Chair & Sneaky Tilda all stamped in Memento & colored with pro markers, LOTV sentiment & ribbon from my stash.

I do hope you've enjoyed yourself at Edwin Claus' lodge, he cant stick around for long as he is MEGA busy making sure he has lots of pressies for me as today is my birthday & only 34 days 'til Christmas!!! See you soon!!! x x x

Morning All!!!

I hope you are all well......my foot is still a bit sore but I'm excited for Potter Friday!!! If I can make it down my 50steps I will be off to the 11.45 showing of Hary Potter & the Deathly Hallows - ARGH!

Anyway enough Potter Talk & onto my latest Christmas Card....I saw a gorgeous card made by the ever so talented Mindy & I had to have a go at my own version. I used DP by Forever Friends, Martha Stewart Doily lace edge punch & 3 Magnolia's - Tilda unwrapping gifts, Tilda give's a Christmas Hug & Sneaky Tilda - they have all been stamped in Memento & colored with Pro Markers & Sickles added round the edges, sentiment is by LOTV - I just LOVE them!

Now Christmas Parties are going to be starting soon.....I just hope I get my invie to Tilda's Pary as it looks soooooo much fun! I MUST dash now as I'm watching Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince - I NEED to be up to speed! Last time I went to see the Half Blood Prince at the flicks and I couldn't really remember what had happened oops! See you all later & I'll let you know how the film was - if I can make it!!! x

How are we all today? I'm hoping everyone is ok. I'm still feeling the cold here but not too long now until the man comes & fixes my heating...it's only been broke since the 21st October!! I have LOADS more to moan about so I'll stop now or you may NEVER stop me!! LOL

Ok so this morning I have a new card made with Tilda & Snowy......isn't this sooooooo cute!?!?! I used a scalloped card blank & blue & white card stock from the paper mill, I embossed the white card with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes embossing folder, Magnolia image stamped in Memento & colored with Pro Markers & of course I had to add LOADS of Stardust Stickles.......no card is complete without them you know!!! The sentiment is from Lilly of The Valley - aren't they just gorgeous! I stamped my sentiment then cut using circle nestie & added to a blue scallop cut wih another nestie!

Morning Peeps! WOW I'm up super early on a Sunday but yes I'm off o work boooooo no playing with my new Magnolias' until tonight!!

I'm here with a card I made I HAD to ink up these 2 AS SOON as I got them in my hands!!! Card stock is from paper mill, spotty paper is forever firends, Edwin Claus, Chair & Sentiment are by Magnolia & all stamped in memento & colored with Pro Markers.

I'm entering into into the Sirstampalot Challenge for Christmas Traditions - there's nothing more traditional than Santa Checking his naughty & nice list before he leaves his workshop on Chrismas Eve.......well not to me anyway!! LOL

Creative Inspirations Brown, Cream & Sage

Goodnight Folks!

OMG I am soooooooooooooooo late with todays DT card & I'm sorry had so much going on at work & trying to get packed as I'm off to London at te weekend, I'm in the final of a competition - if we win that we win a holiday to ANY Sandals resort I choose!!!!

Today out new theme at Creative Inspiraions is Brown, Cream & Sage. For my card I took my inspiration from the MEGA talanted Dena, I LOVE her work & as soon as I saw her shopping Tilda card I knew I wanted to make something similar for my Shop-a-holic mother! LOL

My card is 6x6 square I got them from the craft show at the arena so can't remember who they are from oops! Paper is K&Co, Tilda & Shop window stamped in memento & colored with pro markers, added LOTS of jewels to Tilda for her jewelery, foiliage is Magnolia Doohickey & flowers from Hobbycraft. Of course it wouldn't be one of my cards if I didn't overload on Stardust stickles! Lol

I'm off to catch up on tonights Emmerdale - God I love Cain Dingle for napping Naughty Nathan!! LOL I ope you can pop over to our blog & join in with our challenge!!

Tilda under the mistletoe...

....Good Morning Everyone!

How are we all today? I hope you're all well. I'm up MEGA early again on my day off, they are coming to do some work on my builidng & someone is calling round & wants to be in my flat.....9am they will be here!!!!

Anyway it's a good job I'm up early as I can share my newest card with you all!!! I went to the Crafts for Christmas show at the Arena yesterday...(it's on today & tomorrow if you'd like to go)...there was lots of goodies there & tooo many Martha Stewart punches, I topped up on things I needed I got a new pair of x-cut non-stick scissors, star dust stickles, scalloped square card blanks & a set of 3 sizzix xmas dies. So not too much.....Im saving my mad dash for the NEC in November lol!

Onto my card I have used my new scalloped card blank green & red card from paper mill, & mistletoe paper by Magnolia, Tilda under mistletoe as been stamped in memento & colored with pro markers & star dust stickles, misletoe diecut cut onto green card & stickles added to berries. I struggled with a greeting & in the end I went for a teeny tiny "Happy Christmas" inside I hav the same papers but on the top of the card blank I have another sprig of mistletoe.

This card fits into the following challenges:

Allsorts - Song Title I went for Mistletoe & wine as Im sure Tilda has had a few glasses to get enough courage to get under the misletoe!

Right I MUST go put my make-up on as I don't want to scare this poor person who is coming round lol!

I am here tonight with a new card, made with my new favourite stamp, yes I'm saying that again lol this is Sneaky Tilda but honest I don't think she looks sneaky at all, she looks too darn cute if you ask me!!

For my card I have used Dovecraft Christmas Fancy paper which is delicious sweet pastel colors, Sneaky Tilda was colored with pro markers & MEGA loads of stardust stickles, ovals cut with nesties on my cuttlebug, x-cut snowflake punch with papermania jewel centres & dovecraft greeting stamped with stazon.

I am totally loving this Tilda she is definetly my next purchase as I don't own her yet I was just sent some images of her....

I'm off to get excitied for tonights Double Eviction on X-Factor deffo cant be Wagner that goes he was excellent last night....incase you missed him, or just wanna see it again, here he is:

Hope you are all well, I have a bad head.....thinking over this card WAY too much, looking through my Magnolia's yesterday I noticed I have the Airoplane & Cabin Crew Tilda & I've never used either of them.....so I MUST not deglect them any longer!!

Please, be honest is it ok??? I'm sure......it might be the pink plane? No-one I know of flies a pink plane but I think it'd sure be fun too!! Lol

My card stock is from the paper mill, paper is from the WWW (can't remember where sorry!), Manolia Tilda's & plane stamped in memento & colored with Pro Markers & Diamond stickles, flowers from Hobby Craft, & Tickets from here. Lace & ribbon from my stash.

I'm entering this card into the Totally Tilda Glitter & Sparkle challenge, now I've checked you can enter up to 4 times.....this is my 2nd.

And Magnolia Down Under has a theme of lace & flowers...so I fit into that one too!

Spooky Birthday..

....Afternoon everyone! I hope you are all ok today? I got a wonderful surprise the other day I came home to find a parcel waiting for me, now I hadn't ordered anything so was very excitied to see what it was......my little email buddy Sandy has sent me a gorgeous Halloween collection of papers, dies cuts & even a Sweet November Stamp!!!! Now I have to make a birthday card for my work friend Rebecca, who celebrates her birthday on Halloween......

I have stamped the Witch in memento ink & colored her with pro markers, the paper is Nikki Sivils which I've never seen before but it is gorgeous, the colors are so bright & the patterns are lovely....I've distressed the edges of the card with my distressing tool, dovecraft happy birthday stamped in Stazon grey, ribbon from my stash, silver ice stickles all round the edge of the card & the little witches cat was one of the die cuts Sandy sent, isn't she a cutie!!! I can't get a good pic of the back but I have the Magnolia Spiderweb on the back of the card.

I'm off to try & make some more cards but don't know if I will manage it as I'm off to the Tyne Theatre to see Sarah Millican tonight......a free comedy night how good?!?! LOL See you all soon!

Magnolia Christmas Scene...DT Card Creative Inspirations

Good Morning!

A new Wednesday is here with us today....I am up & getting ready for work booooo but not too bad as I am off tomorrow woooo!!

I am here today with my DT card for Creative Inspirations, this weeks challenge is to use 2 or more stamped images, & what was more perfect than masking! I stamped Tilda first then the window & then the scenery, it's all been colored with pro markers & glitter with diamond stickles. My paper is BO Bunny ( I love this paper!!) ribbon is from my stash, charm from the works & Dec 25th Stamp by dovecraft stamped in memento & cut with plain & scalloped nesties.

My card also fits into the ABC D = Distressing challenge & also the All that Scraps Magnolia Scene challenge

Making it With Meslyn....

.....Good Morning!!!!!
OMG I can't believe it's 08.32 & I am up & awake & I don't start work 'til 1pm! It's not raining so thats a bonus start to the day but I suppose there's still time LOL

My card to share with you today is for the challenge at Making it with Meslyn....it was my choice of a theme this time & I'm finally starting to think about my Christmas cards so I thought this would give me a boost! My theme is Christmas!

For my card I have used a card blank from my stash, paper by Bo Bunny (isn't it gorgeous!!), The winter forest & little Edwin are both stamps by Magnolia, they have both been colored with Pro Markers. Edwin is mine & my new blogging/email buddy Corinne sent me the Winter's Forest image. THe greeting is a little clear Dovecraft stamp which I bought from the Paper Mill for 99p! There was about 5 on a sheet bargain eh?!?! I stamped in Memento & cut out using plain & scalloped nesties on my Cuttlebug.

Now I don't often say this but I like my little Edwin card as I think he's perfect for a male Christmas card - what do you think??? I hope you will all pop over to our blog & join in with us as this theme is so open anything Christmassy will fit right in, see you over here!!!

Every Princess needs a Prince especially one that..

.... brings you shoes! ROFL!!!! It's true isn't it??? My card for today is Princess Tilda & Prince Edwin, I wanted to keep Princess Tilda in white & then as I colored her I remembered I had Prince Edwin, now when I saw Edwin I HAD to have him & until now I haven't used him - OMG I know shock Horror!!!

My card blank can be found here, card stock from paper mill, white card has been embossed with cuttlebug little hearts embossing folder, Tilda & Edwin have been stamped in memento & colored with pro markers also I blinged them up with crystal & silver ice stickles, plain & scalloped heart nestabilities cut on my cuttlebug & Martha Stewart doily lace heart punch.

My greeting has been printed from my PC in the font "Sunshine in my Soul" one the front it says "One day my Prince will come..." & inside I'm going to put "...Fingers crossed he brings shoes!!" Perfect for any girlie birthday card or just to send 'cos you want too!!!!

Just for a change I'm watching Bones - & of course as I'm watching Bones I'm drooling over Seeley Booth LOL!!! Will be back later to see if I can come up with anything else...see you soon x

Mmmmmm Gimme Cake!

I seam to have goten confussed with my dates & forgot to post my last DT card for Making it with Meslyn - HOW AWFUL! As this challenge was a great one!

The Theme is "A Piece of Cake" Carolyn sent me some of the delish paper & decoupage from the Dovecraft Piece of cake range & I LOVED working with them as they look good enought to eat!

Hope you're all well.....as it's Wednesday we have a FAB challenge at Creative Inspirations & this week it is Distressing......Woooooooooooooooo I love distressing the edges of my card so loved this challenge... :D

My card stock is from the paper mill, paper is rose garden by papermania, Martha Stewart Doily lace punch, Princess Tilda by Magnolia has been colored with Pro Markers & Dovecraft celebrate stamp, paper mania jewels have been added to Tilda's shoes tooo!

I can't wait to visit you all to see what you come up with for this weeks challenge & we have an EXCELLENT prize this week so you HAVE to enter to win!!!! So I'll see you over there!

Tilda in the Tulips

Hello Again ..... I'm back with another card!

I've been trying to put this together since last night & it isnt actually how I wanted it, I orginally wanted to use Tilda's Windmill but it wasnt working, so here is my Tulip background again!

My card stock is from paper milll, paper papermania rose garden, Martha Stewart doily lace punch, Magnolia tulip Tilda & tulip background, both colored with pro markers & I've added start dust stickles to the tulips & to Tilda's dress.
I liked the 3D tulips yesterday so I've made these tulips 3D too! I distressed the edges of the card with a distressing tool, and the greeting is a Forever Friends stamp.

I'm off to watch the rest of my Bones DVD with the utterly gorgeous David Boreanaz, I don't even care he's joined the Rat Pack....... he's delish mmmmm!!!! See you later, maybe tomorrow night as I'm back to work tomorrow.......gutted.com LOL!! X x X

Making it with Meslyn

Evening All!

What a gorgeous day today turned out to be eh?? When I awoke at 7am, on my day off I thought the day was going to be awful but by 10am the sun was out so off I went to the shops!

So tonight I've made this card for the newest challenge I've found Making it with Meslyn, there is a sketch challenge & also a DT Call which is open until the 29th April so get yourselves over there to see how to join in!!

For a change I've made an easel card - you know how much I love them, the card stock is rom paper mill, paper papermania rose garden, greeting sent to me by my newest pal Judith, circle plain & scalloped nesties, Martha Stewart doily lace punch & Tilda colored with Pro Markers.

Good Morning World!!

How are we all today? Well here we are on a gorgeous & Sunny Wednesday here in Newcastle -I bet it's cold outside so I'm going to stay in!!!

As it's Wednesday we have a new challenge on Creative Inspirations & the theme this week is Charms - so all you need to have is a gorgeous charm on your card, ATC or scrapbook page!!! I can't wait to see what you all come up with, just pop over to the blog & join in!!!

My card stock is from the paper mill shop, paper pink parfait forever friends, Magnolia Tilda stamped in memento & colored with pro markers lots of glitter from my stash on Tilda's wings!! Ribbon from my stash & gretting is a stamp by woodware. I got the charm in a pack from The Works, which was a total bargain as there were 10, yes 10 charms in the pack for £1!!!!

I will be back later with another card as it is 1/2 finished on my desk, I've been working on it since 08.30 when I got up, I'm getting distracted by Seeley Booth, I'm having a DVD-a-thon with this delish man!!!! TTFN xxx

OMG It's taken me since the 3rd of March to finish this card...

... is that a world record???? LOL

I started on the 3rd, I stamped & colored the background & Tilda & added litter then disaster struck I dropped Tilda & all the glitter came off :( so I re-stamped & coloered Tilda & glittered her wings & left her to dry, then everyday I've gotten her out but couldn't think of a way to put the card together, until today when it came together like this!!!

The card stock is from the Paper Mill, paper DCWV, Nesties label 4, Butterfly Background & Tilda by Magnolia stamped in Memento & colored with Pro Markers, X-Cut flower punch, Nellie Snellen branch punch, Dovecraft greetings, plain & scalloped circle nesties & oodles of diamond stickles!!!

I REALLY like the way this card has turned out (even if I do say so myself!!!)

I may even struggle to give her away, acutally I don't know anyone with a birthday soon so phew she can stay for a while!!!
