Good Morning Wednesday!

I hope you're all well it's a better day today here in Newcastle as there's no rain today - wooo! Also as it's Wednesday we have a new challenge at Creative Inspirations, we have a sketch for you to follow, designed by Nat.

Evening All!

Well I've been out today with my newest blogging buddy Judith & we hit the shops!!!! So when I got home I just HAD to use some of my new goodies.

I've seen these cute 'lil mini easels & we found a pack in Hobbycraft so went halfsies, I also bought some Stickles well I do use a bottle every few days, some more Pro Markers..... no I don't own them all quite just yet & I got a cute little clear stamp set - & I've used the greeting on this card. My paper is the new Daisy & Dandelion & ribbon from my stash & of course no card is complete without the use of a gorgeous Martha Stewart punch!!!

I've just nearly forgot all about my fave new programme on TV - then I'm gonna turn onto Channel4 to watch the Election results...... Jimmy Carr is one of my fave comedions!! See you all tomorrow with a new card!!! X x X

Spring Tilda

Good Morning Everyone!!
What an awful day it is here in Newcastle, it's dark & wet - eugh!!! So to cheer me up I made a lovely springy card & guess what I think it worked!!!

Card stock from the Paper Mill, papers Daisy & dandlion, Magnolia background & Tilda with flowing hair, both stamped in memento & colored with pro markers, ribbon from my stash, Marta Stewart doily lace punch, plain & scalloped circle nesties, papermania greeting stamp, diamond stickles in the clouds.

Pro markers used Tilda: skin ivory & dusky pink, hair primrose vanilla & sandstone, dress pink carnation & lilac, socks pink carnation, shoes cinnamon, basket sandstone, Background: sky pastel blue, fields meadow green, mushrooms sandstone & pastel beige, grass & tulip leaves meaf green, tulips pink carnation, butterfly lilac.

Creative Inspirations Say it in Sepia...

Good Morning All,

I'm feeling rather tired this morning - stayed up way too late last night & up way too early this morning. As its Wednesday though we have a NEW FAB Challenge on Creative Inspirations - wooooooooo!!!

Here is my DT Card - the challenge is say it in sepia - now I've discovered how to make these easel cards I cant stop I just LOVE them!!!!

Calander 2010 for my Mam

Good Morning Everyone!

Well for the past 2 days I have been feeling rather ill, on Friday I rang NHS Direct & they suspect Food Poisoning!

I am feeling slightly better still feel a bit delicate, so I thought I would get a crack on with the Calander I was going to make for my Mam.

I bought the album back in June, with the intenion of doing a page every week or so, then I wouldn't have a mad rush at the last minute, however that never happened & last night whilst watching Strictly I made these

I LOVE Tilda but I'm unsure if Mam does - sometimes she says Im too Americanised - I laugh to myself if she only knew Tilda was from Sweeden!!

I went for Tilda anyhooo, as I didnt want to do Tilda or mixed in with anyother stamps.

I tried to print the calander from the PC but I was making them too big to fit onto the page & also I couldnt get the month to look right on them.

So I bought a pack of Calander tabs - 99p, bargain or what???

The pages inside were scalloped, however this looked like too hard a job to cover them so I turned them straight - I'm still worrying about covering the front & back pages any ideas welcome!!

I have circled all te holidays I could think of, Im also going to put my birthday on, as Mam often has trouble remembering that one, wonder why??

I av colored Tilda's in with Pro Markers.

Papers I have used are DCWV, K&Co, Forever Friends, Daisy & Dandelion.

I'm trying to only use all Magnolia Stamps too - like the butterflies.

Anyhow here's what I managed last night.

Off to try to do some more or maybe some cards!

Creative Inspirations #19 Kickstand Card

Morning sorry I'm a day late with my DT Card but I went on a crise with work & didnt get back until yesterday, and I cant work out how to set my posts to just appear - lol!

Charisma Cardz Alter something...

.....what should I alter for the Charisma Cardz Challenge and I thought back to the post it not cover I made a few weeks back & remember my Gran saying "Oooooooh I'd like one of those" so as I am going to visit her tomorrow I thought let's make her one!

The above pic is what the note pad started off like, I got 4 for only £1 from the imag-e-nation shop in Newcastle.

And heres what it looks like now!!!! Much better I'm sure you'll all agree.

Well as I loved my last card sooooo much I thought I would use the colors again and of course I HAD to ink up another Tilda - I can't remember the last time I used another stamp!

I am entering this card into the Papertake Weekly challenge they have a FAB sketch which I have followed.

Friday Sketchers

Do you ever make something and think OMG did I really make that - I REALLY like it lol!!

Well thats how I feel about this card, I love the sketch, the Tilda is sooooo cute and the colors are FAB!

I have made this card for Friday Sketchers Blog, I have only just found it & I think I will be joining in more often - why not pop over & join in too!!

Card blank is craft tonic, pink & blue card stock from the Paper Mill, Magnolia Tilda stamped in Memento ink & colored with Pro Markers, Papers Daisy & Dandelion, X-Cut flower punch small & large flower, Papermania jewels for the swirl, Tilda's antenas & the flower centres, Divine Swirl & Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folders, & glitter from my stash on Tilda's wings!

ABC Challenge M is for....

.... Metallic!

Well when I saw this theme on ABC I worried a little, but then I remembered my gorgeous gemstone cordinations card stock and tada!!

Card blank is from my stash, paper is daisy & dandelion, X-cut punch for flowers & papermania gewmstone flowers & greeting stamp, Magnolia Tilda & bee's colored with Pro Markers, plain & scalloped nesties embossed with tiny dots cuttlebug embossing folder.

I used a brown coredinations cardstock to get the metallic look - its like bronze :D

Color Create - Red, Cream & Chocolate

Over at Color Create the challenge is to use the colors red, cream & chocolate. I thought I wasn't going to be able to join in at first as I didn't think I had anything Chocolate but tada I found some stripe paper - Im classing it as Milk Chocolate !!

All of the card stock is from the Paper Mill Shop, Paper is Daisy & Dandelion & Forever Friends, ribbon from my stash (that covers the extra option for ribbon on your card too) & Tilda as been colored with Pro Markers, "Best Wishes" greeting is a FREE stamp I received on the front of the latest Do Crafts Creativity Magazine - FAB or what???

Clare's Sketch Challenge

Over @ Docrafts I vowed I was going to join in with Clare's weekly sketch challenge, dunno what happened as I have joined in for a few weeks (oops!!) so I am trying again from now!

This is my effort for this week. Cream card blank with daisy & dandelion paper, Tilda colored with pro markers & ivory & lemon flower soft in Tilda's basket, ribbon from my stash & greeting stamp by Woodware.

Well as there's nothing on TV I'm off to watch Buffy on DVD or should I say drool over Angel lol

Creative Inspirations - 2nd Challenge

I popped over to Creative Inspirations to join in with their 2nd challenge & imagine my suprise when I found out I have won a spot on their DT!!!! I am sooooooo happy, thanks guys for choosing me :D

Anyway I hav joined in with the second challenge which is a color combo, & if you haven't guessed its Green Yellow & Orange. My Tilda Spring Club has finally arrived - phew & I couldnt wait to ink up this 'lil cutie!!!!!

Lemon card is from the paper mill which has been embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots, daisy paper is from daisy & dandelion paper stack which I received from a friend, Ribbon from my Stash, Tilda has been colored with Pro Markers, Co'redinations Gemstone card stock cut into small flowers with my X-Cut flower punch & small papermania jewel s in the centre of the flowers, greeting printed off my PC.

I'm getting ready for work, there 'til 9pm :( got a lovely short shift tomorrow only there 'til 1pm then I'm off to Newcastle Arena for the show there hopefully I won't spend too much! Take Care TTFN x
