.... well I am finally beginning to start to feel a little bit Christmassy, no decorations up as of yet. They are normally up by now but I am redecorating the living room so on Saturday or maybe even tomorrow it will be tree up time!! I spent yesterday afternoon watching Miracle on 34th Street and then It's a Wonderful Life!! 2 of my all time favorite movies!!
While I was watching the movies, I had to make another card for my mother - she loved the frame cards but one had to be posted so I said I would make a more "flat" one and here it is!!
I used paper printed from the Moonbeam Meadow Christmas CD ROM, the image is also from the CD ROM. I added stickles to the image, I used faded jeans distress ink on the edges of the paper. Centura pearl hint of silver embossed with a Nordic Christmas embossing folder. I added the scalloped border from Sara's Floral Delight and 2 Die'Sire snowflake die cuts. The top one has been covered with stickles. I added ribbon and jewels from my stash. I stamped the greeting in faded jeans distress ink too and used the lacy circle die from Spellbinders to match in with the border. I printed an insert with a Christmas verse for the inside.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenge:
Papertake Weekly - Technique Theme Glitter it up
Allsorts Challenge - At least 3 die cuts
Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything Goes
Bunny Zoes Crafts Challenge - Sparkle
I am off to see if I can make anything else today, I am currently watching Lethal Weapon 2 - gutted Sky Movies didn't have the first one but its been an absolute age since I saw these so I'm re-watching!!! How different does Patsy Kensit look!!!??
Enjoy your Thursday - see you all soon!!! x x x x
