You make my heart flutter

Morning!
How are we all today?I I hope all is well, it's a lovely sunny day down here in Norfolk but its cold.  I went to the shops earlier and boy were the paths and roads icy! So I am now back at home and in the warm.  With a list of jobs to do, I've sacked them off 'til later on!!!

I am here to share a card I have made with the gorgeous Sara Signature Flutterby collection.
I made this card back in November at the Crafter's Companion Craftaganza, I wanted to add some jewels to finish the card off and I have just done that so I thought I'd share this now.
I used the simplistic sentiments and the textured elements and fly away stamp sets. I used distress inks anf glycerin to make the background and to do the stamping.  Colors used were peeled paint, pumice stone, tumbled glass and picked raspberry.  I added the green matt mirror card under the butterfly and then mounted this onto the card from with 3D foam pads.

The second card I made is this one.
For this card I used the pink matt mirror card and used picked raspberry distress ink with glycerin to make the background.  I used the trio of wings dies to cut the butterflies.  I used pumice stone distress ink to stamp some butterflies and the sentiment.

Just how gorgoeus is the Flutterby collection?

Have a fab day - see you all soon! x x x x

Black and Gold

Morning Folks!
How are we all today not too much snow and other awful weather where you are I hope? I woke up a few times last night with the wind - I felt like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz! LOL

As today is so awful I am going to try and sit at my craft desk all day long!
Let's see how that goes LOL

I have a card to share today that I made with my favorite - well defo 1 of my favorite Sara Signature collections, the gorgeous Black and Gold.
I used the gold mirror card with black matt card and I embossed them both with the regency swirl embossing folder.  I used the ribbon thread die, plain and scalloped circle dies and the black and gold foils and transfers.  I added some thin black ribbon and a gold heart charm also from the collection.

I hope you all have a fab day, and don't get too battered by the weather!
See you soon! x x x

Just for you

Morning Peeps!
How are we all today, don't worry I have scheduled this post I'm not really awake and up at this ungodly hour!! Especially on the last few days of my holidays!!!

I decided the other day it's been quite some time since I made an 8x8 card and that's what I wanted to make so off I went, and made this one!
Firstly I made the card blank with 2 sheets of ivory centura pearl and my score master board.  I trimmed it to size and used kraft card and shabby chic card.  I distressed the edges with scissors and then used gathered twigs distress ink.  I added lace and ribbon, and the lots of die cuts!  I used the floral oval die from Spellbinders with a scalloped and plain oval die.  I added a Die'sire Just for you words die cut.  And then added LOTS of pearls to the card. I added a bow to the ribbon and then added some die cut butterflies.  To the edge of the plain oval die and
round some edges I added Mercury glass stickles. - Just to give a little shimmer!!

I'd love to enter my card into the following challenge
Simon Says Stamp - Use Patterned Paper

I hope you all have a FAB day - no idea what I'll get up to today, hopefully I'll be back soon to let you all know!!! TTFN for now!!! x x x x

Ribbon Thread Die for HSN

Oh no!
I had this post scheduled to go live this morning and it hasn't - booooo! Don't you just love modern technology!! Anyways I've spotted it now and I'm posting it now (hopefully) so here goes!

Hey guys!
I have been making samples for Sara's shows on HSN and here is one I'd love to share with you.
I have used centura pearl card to make a 5x7 card blank.  Onto this I added red glitter card from the red luxury card stock pack.  I then added some centura pearl fresh white that I've embossed with the heart Gemini embossing folder.  I die cut a Die'sire heart die in the red glitter card and added this to the front of the card with 3D glue gel, I then added the Die'sire only words With Love die cut.  I cut the robbon thread die cut and threaded the ribbon to this and added to the front of the card.  TADA card is done!!

I  love red and white together - well red is my favorite color!!

Hope you all have a fab day - see you all soon! x x x x
