Christmas in August

Afternoon Peeps!
How are we all today? Well its been a lovely day here in Newcastle today so I went to Asda and then I jumped on my bike and went for a little cycle - was too hot but too nice to waste it sat indoors!

I am here to share my DT card for the new challenge at Creative Inspirations.
Our theme this fortnight is Christmas in August.
I have used the super cute Lawn Fawn snow day stamps and dies.  I colored the little bunny with Spectrum Noirs.  I used pistachio and bamboo leaves memento ink for the trees.  I stamped the greeting in tuxedo black memento ink and I covered the snowflake with stardust stickles and as it's a Christmas card I added some jewels!!

I would love to enter this card into the following challenge:
ABC Christmas Challenge - Q is for Quick Layout
Winter Wonderland Challenge - Gold Silver and or embossed background.

I thought I would also share a snap I took from my bike ride.  Such a lovely view.

I am off to watch my new favorite TV show - Devious Maids OMG I am loving it!!
I will take a break for the Bake Off though :)
Have a great night, see you soon!!! x x x

Christmas Pup for Dad

Morning Peeps!
How are we all today? I hope all is well I'm feeling a little worse for wear it might be all the shouting I did on Sunday night/Monday morning (so sorry neighbors!) for Andy Murray - did you watch? Wasn't he just awesome?!??! I'm now obsessed with the track cycling, the diving and Usain Bolt LOL I wish the Olympics was on every year I LOVE it!!!

Anyways enough sport LOL I am here to share another recent make.
I have made a cute little Christmas card using 1 of my favorite stamped images.  I have colored this with Spectrum Noir markers.  I stamped some snowflakes in Memento pistachio ink.  I went round the image and all the paper & card with tea dye distress ink.  I used the Block Alphabet Diamond Press dies to add "Dad" to the bottom of my card and - tada card done!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenge:
The ABC Challenge - N is for Noel

I hope you all have a FAB Tuesday - See you all soon!! x x x

Morning Peeps!
How are we all today? I hope all is well.
How are we enjoying the Olympics? I am blinking loving it!! How good London 2012 wasn't a fluke and we are actually winning some medals! I love the diving and the track cycling - how exciting is it when they go fleeing round?? I am SUPER excited for Andy Murray this afternoon!!

To keep me calm I was making samples for the Diamond Press show that was on Hocanda yesterday.
I am going to share 1 of my makes today :)
I had some notebooks that I'd purchased from the £1 shop.  I covered it with paper from Sara's Signature English Country Garden 12 X 12 paper pad.  I distressed the paper with tea dye and gathered twigs distress inks.  I added some ribbon and a bow then I decorated the front with some die cut ovals .  I cut the "Notes" from the Diamond Press Alphabet dies.  I finished with pearls.

I am off to watch the lovely Hollyoaks omnibus before I get glued to the Olympics again LOL

See you all soon! Have a FAB Sunday x x x

English Country Garden

Afternoon Peeps!
How are we all today? I hope all is well.  I am enjoying my day off today.  it has been quite a lazy one so far.  Well saying that I've been up since 7am and I've done housework, washing, taken the rubbish out been to the shops and made a card! So not that lazy when you add it all up!!

So here is the card I have made today.
I have used Sara's Signature English Country Garden collection.  I just love it!
I used the 6x6 paper pad, with Core'dinations cardstock.  I added ribbon with a pearl centre brad, and I stamped a sentiment in Paris Dusk Memento ink.

I decorated the inside of the card to match.

I am off to watch some TV, and see if I can make anything else.  I hope you all have a FAB day!
See you all soon! x x x

Christmas Pup

Afternoon Folks!
How are we all today? I hope all is well, well its still dodgy weather in Newcastle warm and grey - how odd! Looks like it'll chuck it down at any minute :(

I had a strong urge to get my pens out and color - so I did!
I inked up this gorgeous Christmas Pup and colored him with Spectrum Noir pens.
I made a top folding card.  I layered this with dark red Core'dinations and onto the top half kraft card which I embossed with a snowflake embossing folder and on the bottom half a green and blue plaid paper.  Across the middle I added a die cut border, which I cut with a stitched scallop die.  I stamped the image with memento Tuxedo black ink.  I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers and I die cut the image with a stitched die.  I stamped the greeting in memento Rhubarb Stalk ink and added some enamel dots.  I decorated the inside to match.

I am off to binge on Wentworth episodes - it's so blinking good!!
Hope you have a lovely night :) x x x

Christmas Bauble

Morning Folks!
How are we all today? I hope everyone has cooled down since yesterday, it has been grey and raining and even thundering here in Newcastle.

I have been using the Sparkling Bauble Die'sire die again for today's card.
For my card I have used silver mirri card and purple Core'dinations along with Christmas papers from my stash (I think I got them from Hobbycraft but can't be too sure of that!).  I added a punched border and some purple ribbon.  I used the Sparkling Bauble die on Core'dinations I sprayed this with silver spray and sparkle and then layered onto silver card and added a bow.  I used a Die'sire only worlds die to cut Merry Christmas and then added some lilac jewels.

I decorated the inside to match.

I am backing Wentworth back to back while this thunder and lightening scres the living daylights out of me! Its just shook my windows it was so loud!!!
Enjoy your day whatever you get up to!! x x x x

Hey You Beautiful :)
I'm currently listening to this song my Olly Murs
so I thought it would be a nice catchy headline LOL ;)
You can listen to it HERE if you want too!!

Anyways I am here to share a card I have made for Crafter's Companion and their shows on Hochanda - I also made some for the cut in Die'sire dies but I was silly and I forgot to photograph them oops!

I have used the gorgeous Prestige Love die on this card
For my card I made a card blank with Centura Pearl hint of silver card, I layered it with silver mirri card and purple Core'dinations, then onto this I added a piece of Centura Pearl that I have embossed with snowflakes.  I die cut the Love from Centura Pearl which had stick it on one side I then peeled this off and covered it with purple glitter.  I added some purple ribbon, a bow and a pearl centered brad on top of the bow.

I'd love to enter my card into the following challenge - ABC Challenge L is for Lots of Layers

I think its fab if you just change the embossing background to hearts you can have an anniversary card, wedding card, valentines etc....see where I'm going with this LOL

I am off to get ready to enjoy today's sunshine - see you all soon!!!
Have a FAB day x x x x
