Todays favourite Toread

Morning!

Urgh what an anful day - I HATE the rain! I'd rather have snow than rain, I think its always more windy when it rains than it does when it snows and I HATE the rainy wind blowing all over!!  I've woken up feeling rather tired but you know when you try to sleep some more & you just can't!  So abut half an hour ago I gave up & got up!  I've logged onto my comments & WOW you too, just like the Crafter's Companion DT are LOVING the Toread collection!

 

So I have a NEW Card to share with you today,  I'd like you to meet Kuro.  Sorry Pony but I think Kuro is DEFO my favourite when I first saw him I couldn't stop giggling!!

Now when I saw him I thought "Oooooooooh I know what to do with him!!!" If you can remember back to the Morehead launch the MEGA talented Margaret made a gorgeous card with 2 of the shaped cards, and thats exactly what I wanted to do with Kuro.

 

I printed 2 shaped cards with Kuro, on 1 of them I went into my printer settings and printed the mirror image.  I printed a sheet of paper with a small little flower pattern, I made a lacy border from green & cream cordinations.  I embossed the cream card with a diamond pattern darice embossing folder & added some green ribbon.  I then printed a sheet of sentiments from the Toread CD.  1 of these was the long "Best Friends are one of lifes little treasure" I cut this in half and added 1 to the left & 1 to the right & then added a "Just for you" to the bottom of the border.
