Hey Peeps!
How are we all today? I am so happy I ain't facing the rush of getting tickets this morning - I am all chilled out knowing I've booked my tickets & my hotel is sorted :D So if anyone knows of any good craft shops in Manchester I'll be needing to know nearer June 2013 thanks!!!
OMG How cold is it this morning? You can tell it's colder as my windows are all frosty! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! So perfect to share a Christmas Card.
I've been asked to make 6 personal Christmas Cards - 1st up was for a 4 year old boy - hmmmmmmmmmmmmm what shall I do? I know Humphrey is perfect! You can find the Humphrey's Corner Christmas CD Rom HERE.
I saw this image & fell in love with it! So off I went making my frame card. I distressed the edges of the card with tea dye distress ink. Made a Martha Stewart doily lace border I embossed this with snowflakes & distressed with distress ink too. Ribbon from my stash. I printed "Happy Christmas Henry" & cut with nestability die - as is the snowflake, I glittered this with stickles.
Here is a side on so you can see the frame better. Do you think it's ok?
I'm entering my card into the Cute Card Thursday Challenge - Snowflakes
The inside has the same faded red design with the following Verse:
"Have a really lovely Christmas Henry
"Have a really lovely Christmas Henry
With all the nice things you get
Though it's only your fifth Christmas
May it be your best one yet!"
Awwwwwwww I love that verse! So 1 down & 5 to go - wish me luck!!! LOL See you all soon, I'm off to get ready & then watch Jeremy Kyle - gotta be done as I'm back to work on Monday :( x x x x
