Afternoon Guys!
How are we all? I hope all is well. Well life has still been getting in my way and I've been a very naughty blogger of late and I haven't been here for so long but I though as I'm on a day off I would share the card I made my Dad for Father's Day.
It was pretty apt as he's always reaching into this for me, poor Dad!
I used kraft card to make a card that looked like a wallet!! I distressed this with Tea Dye & Gathered Twigs distress inks. I I used a white gel pen to add faux stitching and some small brads to the corners. I printed some plaid paper from the Tweedies CD ROM. I stamped Dad onto this and fussy cut it and went over with the same distress inks.
For the inside
I added a smaller piece of card - to make it look like it was pockets, then I added a Father's Day greeting which I printed onto white card and die cut with a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die. I added a heart die cut in the plaid paper and distressed both of them with the distress inks. On the right-hand side I added a smaller piece of card to make another pocket - and into here I added a photo of me and my Dad - awwwwww! And stamped the "With love from me to you".
I die cut a smaller stitched rectangle and added my message and popped that into the pocket too!!
Here's the photo I put inside!!
We were on holiday on a Norwegian Fjords Cruise - hence the waterproofs!!
A pretty niffy idea if I do say so myself - so thanks Pinterest for showing me this idea!!
I'm off now to dance round the house like a loon while I blast 100% Clubland LOL and do some hoovering while I'm at it!!
