I've had a day off today & I ended up in town for most of it looking for a new printer.....got one woooooooooo!
So when I got home I set about making this card, I'm so unsure of it now it's all finished. I never thought you could have too much glitz, I may have been wrong!
The paper is Pink Petticoat, tulip background, tilda with flowing hair & tilda in the garden all samped in memento & colored with pro markers, flowers from hobbycraft & ribbon from my stash........diamond stickles added pretty much everywhere........I think that & as the ribbon is glittery it's just too much.....what do you think? Honest I can take it......
The sentiment on the front says "If mothers were flowers.." & inside "I'd pick you! Happy Mother's Day".
I'm so pleased today is Monday the tv is GREAT......Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, Corrie, Enders, Corrie, Glee & then Hell's Kitchen USA!!! Me watch too much tv.......NEVER! Lol
Gorgeous card! I don't think you overdid the glitter! We all love bling!
I love glitter, Caroline! It is a girlie card so there's NEVER too much glitter. Love the masking job, love the entire scene. Great job!
I think it's beautiful! But, I'm a glitter girl and in my opinion, you can never have too much glitter, LOL! I love it! Hugs, Rosemary
I think I love it Caroline! Not sure if it's the camera flash or if it really is this sparkly IRL.. but it's gorgeous! And I love the sweet sentiment ♥
Where are my sunglasses? No, just kidding :P I agree with the other girls - it's a girly card and I think it looks adorable just as it is. Bring on the sparkle! BTW, I used to live in Washington when I was a kid; all my family are Northerners! Hugs, Becca
